Jersey City Medical Center and Barnabas
Health patients can relax. A CD full of personal patient information
that went missing in June has turned up without any data being
compromised, according to a published report.
The Jersey Journal reported Tuesday
that the CD was delivered intact earlier this month by UPS, quoting a
Jersey City Medical Center spokesman as saying it was “still sealed in
its original packaging.”
The newspaper also said affected patients were notified this week that their information was safe.
