Raw Stats
According to ID Theft Center
there were 4,816 major breaches between 2005 and September 23, 2014,
with a total of 667,201,105 records stolen. That is not even including
last week’s Jimmy John’s breach! With figures like this it’s easy to
panic. For every American that is 2.1 stolen credit cards.
