We are getting reports of scam calls that call and claim to be utility providers. They tell the victim that they will be cutting off a utility within the hour and the quickest way to prevent the service from being disconnected is to go and purchase Greendot cards and call them back with the numbers.
Don't be a victim. Utility providers typically do not accept Greendot cards for payments.
